Hikmat Ali, Dean College of Architecture and Design, and professor of Architecture

He graduated from Texas A&M University in 2000. He started his work at Jordan University of Science and Technology, during that he was the Chairman of department of Architectural engineering. In 2008 he was appointed as associate visiting professor at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for five years. In 2013, he returned back to Jordan University of Science and Technology. In 2018 he was appointed as the Dean of College of Architecture and Design at Jordan University of Science and Technology. His area of specialty in Sustainable and Green Architecture, Integrated Design, and Architectural Design. He published around 40 scientific research papers in many Architectural Journals.

He supervised many graduate theses and dissertations in many areas of architectural science. Moreover, he was participating in evaluating many architectural design competitions in Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
