Short Biography: Pr. Rachid Alillouch: an architect-urban planner, Doctor of Architecture and heritage architect. Former deputy director of the National School of Architecture of Rabat from 2016 to 2023, he spent part of his professional career as a manager within the Urban Agency of Kenitra, and as Director of urban planning at the Agency for the Development of the Bouregreg Valley. He is currently a Lecturer at the National School of Architecture of Fez and an associated researcher at the “Population, Environment, Development_” Laboratory, LPED – UMR151 – AMU/IRD Aix Marseille University. He works as a Affiliate Professor at the School of Architecture, Planning and Design, at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University of Benguerir (SAP+D-UM6P). He also taught at the National School of Architecture in Rabat and at the National Institute of Planning and Urban Planning in Rabat. Pr. Alillouch is the author of several scientific articles and chapters in books. He is also the author of a work on “Urban projects in Morocco. Between injunctions for sustainability, circulation of models and greenwashing. Development projects of the Bouregreg Valley in Rabat-Salé and eco- city of Zenata in Greater Casablanca”.
