Short Biography: Elif Kutay Karacor is a faculty member in the Landscape Architecture Department of Istanbul Technical University, Turkey. She holds a Bachelor’s degree (2003) and a Master’s degree (2006) in Landscape Architecture from the Abant Izzet Baysal University, and a PhD (2012) in Landscape Architecture from the Duzce Universit y. Additionally, she holds a Master’s degree (2015) in City and Regional Planning from Istanbul Technical University. She has worked as a research assistant of City and Regional Planning at the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University while conducting the doctoral research. In 2011–2012, she was a visitor at the Landscape Architecture Department of Mississipi State University, USA. Her main research topics are urban life quality, place attachment, public space, and social sustainability.
