Mosque Architecture around the Globe has undergone many variations. The morphological changes, however, in terms of spatial sequence and functional smoothness, have maintained the religious guidelines, always aiming to retain or in some cases, enhance the spiritual ambiance. The emergence of a small community mosque in the rural area of Lakshmipur, Bangladesh, by a contemporary architect of the country, showcased a distinct character in the ‘Qibla facade’ which is the sheerness or transparency of it in contrast to almost all mosques prevailing in the country if not in the world. This study sparked research quests to understand the theological stands of Islam in guiding or formulating the notion of a solid façade of Qibla which is a more generic case for most mosques and how the architect interpreted the narrative while manifesting that in the specific case. Adhering to a single case study-based research method, the work continues with an integrative approach to the literature review, followed by a semi-structured interview with the project's architect and the mosques' users later on. The findings suggest that the narrative of the spiritual perception of the QIbla façade by the architect does not conflict with the traditional understanding; however, the physical manifestation in a more experimental manner, can be a newer way of showcasing the multitudes of interpretations. Architects play a critical role in influencing the psychology of space as a mass perception of individual emotion and, mosques, mostly as religious places are high-end sensitive enclaves that can transcend diverse layers of emotions for their users within. As a result, any experimental intervention of spatial character might need a discourse engaging critical thinking process.
