General comment to paper “A history of the Bosnian minaret(s)”

An excellent historical account of Bosnian minarets, well sourced and well structured. The introduction of the typology of minarets is an added value to the studies on mosque architecture, not only for Bosnia but for the region, and beyond. The shift in symbolics of minarets as well as their function is also presented; perhaps a few pictures illustrating the types and thus the minaret(s) evolution, would make this paper even more compelling to the international reader.
